The Mad Anthony brand was founded in New York City by artist Mad Anthony in 2000.
A graphic artist by nature, Mad Anthony implements a design esthetic that’s inspired by his eclectic musical tastes (specifically soul, reggae, jazz, hardcore), the cultural hodgepodge of his home in New York City and his San Francisco roots - Mad Anthony is a genuine reflection of the designers’ vivid imagination and outlook on life.
The MA line consists of tees, jackets and accessories that transcends chasing fads, pushes innovation and quintessential design aesthetics, whilst retaining quality and originality. You might recognize the brand by its iconic Mad Lion logo, Dapper Dread logo or Going Places mantra.
The Mad Anthony brand has been seen in publications such as Warp (Japan), Vogue (US), Idn (Japan), Cover (Japan), Arena (UK) and has received critical acclaim in two of the most fashion-forward cities in the world—New York and Japan, along with a loyal following.
Mad Anthony is currently working on a eponymous photography project and looks to expand the Mad Anthony brand throughout the US and the rest of the world.
