Stump sprang from a love of woodworking and lasers.
From humble beginnings in a small logging town in Central Oregon, to the current base in tech-savvy Portland, the nature/technology dichotomy is always on their minds. Stump love both wood and gadgets, and they hope it shows.
At Stump they like to stay environmentally conscious. From lumber farmed from sustainable forests, to felt made from recycled bottles, to grocery bags re-purposed into shipping materials, they are always looking for ways to reduce the impact.
They've found ways to maximize every bit of material possible (the buckles are made from the window cutouts during production of the framed docks) and whatever is still left over gets recycled.
